Bright Club Wales first started in November 2010 and has taken place at many of Cardiff’s hottest venues, most recently at Buffalo. So far, researchers from the universities of Cardiff and Glamorgan and from the National Museum have entertained the audiences with sets covering a wide range of subjects, from astronomy, to observing young men, to the importance of cherry pickers to communicating your research!
After a recent hiatus due to job changes and babies, we are in the middle of arranging a new set of event beginning in April and building up to an extra special Bright Club: Bodies at the Cardiff Science Festival in July.
If you would like to perform or help organise future Bright Clubs in Wales, please contact: beacon@cardiff.ac.uk or find us on facebook and twitter.
